我的舅舅

舅舅旧时是上私塾的，练的一手好字。虽是个农民，但相当儒雅，好养花。农忙时种地，春节时写对联，平时则卖花，听妈说在当地人缘很好。母亲说当年家里筹钱取了我的第一任妗子，嫁过来以后发现人家整天闷闷不乐。舅舅问了原因，才发现人家早有相好，只是父母之命，媒妁之言才嫁到马家。舅舅征求了她的意见，让她和自己相好去过了，彩礼也没往回要。这在当时是相当民主的事情。舅舅待人接物可见一斑。
